The Brons Process

Making the process of planning and building your Kootenay home as seamless as possible is our top priority. Check out the info below to learn more about how we optimize the process to provide you with the best service in the industry.

How we Build.

We approach our custom home-building projects like a long-term relationship.

We want to get to know our clients and for them to get to know us. Building any home is no small feat and can become stressful and exhausting if not managed correctly. For those reasons, a foundation of trust, communication, and a strong client-builder relationship is paramount to us.

Bright entryway with wooden accents, a wooden front door with rectangular glass panels, a potted plant near the door, a red patterned rug, black and stone decorative elements, and light-colored flooring.

We pride ourselves in taking very calculated steps along the building process, paired with our experience and expertise to make sure that the building process is as stress-free as possible, for both our clients and our team.

  • Review and organize your overall budget.

  • Consider the builder you’re wanting to work with and their skill set/abilities and what price range they’re able to accommodate.

*For example, not all builders can build custom high-end homes, while others cannot competitively build more inexpensive homes*

  • Do you have a dream plot? Have you purchased your land yet?

*If you have your eye on a certain piece of land for your dream home, [contact us] or your builder to book a site visit before purchasing so that we can help identify any problems or hidden costs in regards to the lot and your build goals*

  • (ie. views, orientation to the sun, access, privacy, etc.)

  • Contact a Home/Building Designer to help you determine the style you’re looking for, as well as the functional needs of your home, as well as provide your builder with the construction drawings they’ll need to begin work on your project.

    (ie. Traditional, Modern, Farmhouse, etc.)

  • Get a full and proper quote from your contractor, making sure you understand everything fully before proceeding with your build.
